Facility where severely disabled Arizona woman was impregnated will close

(CNN)The group that operates an Arizona health care facility where a severely disabled woman was impregnated last year will close the unit, Hacienda HealthCare said Thursday. Earlier this week, the former Hacienda HealthCare nurse accused of sexual assault in the case pleaded not guilty in a Maricopa County court. Nathan Sutherland, 36, is being held on $500,000 bail and will make his next court appearance during a March 19 pretrial conference, said Maricopa County Superior Court spokesman Bryan Bouchard. The alleged victim, who CNN is not naming because police are investigating the case as a sexual assault, had been at the long-term-care facility since 1992. She has been relocated. Women May Soon Start Using AI to Tell Good Eggs From Bad

Millennials are increasingly making time in their busy schedules to put their eggs on ice. More effective flash-freezing technologies, micro-optimized ad targeting, and a growing willingness among companies to follow Silicon Valley’s lead of including fertility treatments in benefit packages have made the practice more attractive to would-be parents. At last count, more than 65,000 so-called social egg freezers in the US are doing so each year, despite the costs, physical toll, and the uncertain odds. Egg freezing doesn’t guarantee a child-bearing future; recent data from one of Europe’s largest IVF clinics indicates that while most eggs survive the thawing process, only about a third of them result in successful pregnancies. To give patients a sense of what their chances …

Today, Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier took the stage at a “Stop the Bans” rally to argue against anti-abortion laws: At the #StopTheBans rally, Rep. Jackie Speier says she is not ashamed of her second-trimester abortion, that she had for medical reasons, and criticized male state lawmakers for thinking “it’s ok to send women to prison or give them the death penalty for having an abortion.” pic.twitter.com/mJLaNBFW8t — Julio Rosas (@Julio_Rosas11) May 21, 2019 First of all: The sole exemptions for the Alabama abortion ban, which is arguably the strictest in the country, are to protect the life of the pregnant woman or if the fetus cannot survive. It seems that Rep. Speier’s second-trimester abortion fell into one of those two …

The original article, 22 Effective Home Remedies for Birth Control, cites zero sources to support its claims, save for a …
